BlackHat 2013 in Review!!
So I had a great week at BlackHat 2013 this year. Right now... before anything else I want to give a special shout to RSA, Accuvant, and Rapid7 for putting on a great show.
The keynote speaker on day one made the news. I'll let you look that one up for yourself. No it was not me heckling if thats what your thinking :)

So the day before the event started I registered and spent a few hours figuring out just how massive this conference is. Its been a few years since I'd be to Vegas and I really couldn't believe how big this conference has grown.

Accuvant brought the A Team this year! I thoroughly enjoyed talking with all the engineers from the research teams, and sales teams.

So leaving the airport I noticed my extremities swelling up and decided to go to the counter. "Hey by chance do you have an aid station I could check my blood pressure." Before I got a response I got a whack to the chest like nothing I had ever felt before. The lady at the counter said "Oh hell no Call 911"
I never got another word out of my mouth and found myself in the hospital the next two days.
Turns out it was a blood clot and I lived to fly again but I know GOD was watching over me.
*(Apparently SouthWestern doesn't like customers dying at 30,000 feet.)
